In the neighborhood of Las Angustias the Librea de los Diablos is celebrated. It is an ancient and original tradition in which the devil and the devil dance to the sound of the tajaraste, to frighten the children until the Virgin of Las Angustias intervenes.
The giant figures of the devils and their accompanying court, heads of them all, danced through the streets until the virgin went out in procession and drove the demons away.
This manifestation was forbidden during the dictatorship of Franco, but in spite of this, this custom, so deep-rooted and singular, is rooted in a livery, in which the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the face of the anguish of the Christian people , Pulls them out of the clutches of the demon, conquering in the end always the good.
